Robert is a Durham lawyer whose principal area of practice is Family Law, which includes thoroughly advising and representing clients through the difficult and often tumultuous period of separation. He is well-versed in the areas of divorce, custody/decision-making, access/parenting time, child & spousal support, property division, inter-jurisdictional orders, as well as child protection and openness matters.
Robert offers experience in both collaborative negotiations outside of litigation, however, is also right at home in the courtroom where he tirelessly advocates for his clients at conferences, motions, and trial. He also focuses his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Wills & Estates, including Powers of Attorney, as well as Real Estate.
Prior to his call to the Ontario Bar, Robert attended the University of Western Ontario where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science, as well a minor in Gender & Women’s Studies.
He then attended the University of Windsor where he obtained his Juris Doctor. While attending at Windsor, Robert worked at the Community Legal Aid throughout the school year and a Durham Legal Aid Clinic over the summer months. Prior to joining Creighton Law LLP, Robert articled and worked at a boutique family law firm, where he gained invaluable experience in all areas of Family Law.
Over his years of practice, Robert continues to place a strong emphasis on timely and straightforward communications, which positions his clients to achieve a favorable and cost-effective outcome.
In his downtime, Robert loves spending time with his family, friends, and, most importantly, his pets. When not immersed in his practice, Robert loves all things sports.
