Creighton Law LLP is one of the oldest law firms in Canada, and the oldest in the Durham Region. The firm was founded by John Frederick Grierson, the son of Oshawa’s first police magistrate, who was joined by T. Kelso Creighton in 1919.

A succession of highly successful, community-minded Lawyers has formed the backbone of our firm since the beginning. Many of them have held positions of great responsibility in the military, have served as Crown Attorneys, or have been appointed Judges.
